ABDUCTION PREVENTION SEMINARS
Absolute Identity Solutions has made Protecting Our Children a priority. As part of our effort to inform and educate the community, AIS provides Sex Offender and Abduction Prevention Seminars to volunteer organizations, businesses, child welfare programs, and TANF staff and clients.
Our Sex Offender Seminar teaches the participants how to keep themselves, their families, and their communities safe by learning how to empower themselves with the tools to protect them from sexual predators. AIS updates the participants with significant Sex Offender legislation, both current and pending, and educates them on current registration laws. AIS also teaches the participants about the internet and other resources, facts and myths about sexual predators, and tips on keeping your children safe that will enable them to be Proactive, Not Reactive.
Our seminars also include an interactive, instructor led Abduction Prevention session that teaches the participants how to keep themselves, their families, and their communities safe from sexual predators. The session teaches the participant about how to use family and culture to increase communication and help keep the family safe. The hands on portion teaches participants self defense techniques for parents and their children.
California was the first state to enact a sex offender registration law.
Today, California has the largest number of registered sex offenders. The Megan’s Law statute, enacted by many states, requires community notification by authorities when a convicted sex offender is released from prison. Often times these sex offenders move to Indian reservations, where they are often out of compliance with the registration laws or proper registration never takes place.
Absolute Identity Solutions offers these Sex Offender/Abduction Prevention Seminars to help you understand, as well as teach others about current Sex Offender Laws, Megan’s Law, and how they can help your community. You will learn about the Megan’s Law sex offender locator site and Sex Offenders Tracking Program, and learn ways to protect you and your family from sexual predators.
Our instructors are composed of educators, ex-law enforcement, and self-defense experts with over 30 years of professional experience. Our instructors conduct informative, interactive training at your office or ours.
