Absolute Identity Solutions offers LiveScan fingerprinting for non-criminal purposes, such as obtaining a state license, certification, employment applications, volunteering at a local not-for-profit agency, personal record review, police clearance certificates and immigrations and citizenship applications. We offer walk-in service as well as Mobile LiveScan services.

Absolute Identity Solutions will come to your place of business if needed, at no additional cost. If you have multiple applicants in need of LiveScan and background screening, we can facilitate the entire application process, leaving all of the work to us. Absolute Identity Solutions can handle the entire application process, from start to finish, providing you with detailed reports, and fast, courteous service.
LiveScan is inkless electronic fingerprinting. The fingerprints are electronically transmitted to the Department of Justice for completion of a criminal record search. The LiveScan technology replaces the process of recording fingerprint patterns through a rolling process using ink. Digitizing the fingerprint images enables them to be transmitted electronically to the Dept. of Justice in a matter of seconds, instead of the days required to send hard copy fingerprint cards through the mail.
Effective July 1, 2005, Penal Code section 11077.1 mandates the California Department of Justice only accept electronically transmitted fingerprint images from regulatory entities performing background investigations of applicants.
What to bring:
- REQUEST FOR LIVESCAN FORM - This form is given to you by the agency requesting you to be fingerprinted. If this is for a license or certification, the form can often be found on the agency's website.
- VALID PHOTO ID - We accept the following ID's:
- CA Driver's License or ID Card
- Out of State Driver's License or ID Card
- US Passport
- Military ID Card
- Alien Registration Card
- Mexican Consulate Card
- FORM OF PAYMENT – Cash or Check only
